Reclaimed Wood & Architectural Elements
Welcome to the Barnwood Center. If you are a builder looking to source reclaimed lumber for your projects, you have found the right place.
We are located outside Cashiers and Highlands in the mountain town of Franklin, North Carolina. Every structure on our riverfront property is made from reclaimed barnwood and timbers.
Make an appointment to see how reclaimed barnwood elements can transform your home into a rustic, elegant mountain dream home.
– Brian Horner
Our Lumber Yard
We sell reclaimed timber and beams for residential and commercial use.

We source from around the South and anywhere we can find barns and structures before they are demolished. Fortunately, Brian has been in the business a long time and has contacts who keep us supplied as wood becomes available.
Most of our lumber is oak, maple, or other hardwood. Typically, the lengths range from 8′ to 12′ suitable for building.
Each piece of lumber is uniquely marked by nature, but generally, barnwood comes in distressed grey or antiqued brown.
